MONKEYS engaging in some frisky activities and a sea turtle flipping off the camera are among the hilarious snaps leading a competition to celebrate some of wildlife's funniest moments.

The snaps show some of the most loved animals doing peculiar things like lions sharing a gossip and a giraffe photobombing another.

The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards seeks to celebrate the funny side of wildlife and raise awareness for conserving endangered animals.

These are some of the best and funny pictures from this year's list.
