Johnson was alongside NFL Hall of Fame pass-catcher Shannon Sharpe for their YouTube "Nightcap" show.

During their podcast on Monday night, the two former NFL pass catchers were discussing potential moves this offseason.

Johnson shared his thoughts on the Broncos situation with Wilson and offered what he has heard from around the league.

"A little birdie told me, and I said this many shows ago, Russell Wilson's coming on over to the Steelers," Johnson stated.

Sharpe followed up, stating that Chicago Bears QB Justin Fields is currently the betting favorite to end up on the Steelers, not Wilson.

However, Johnson was completely against that idea and expressed, "No, he's going to Atlanta.

"I got the script."

This isn't the first time a former athlete has spoken about Wilson's looming future in Denver.

Ex-Seattle Seahawks icon Shaun Alexander said he had heard whispers Wilson could end up with the Atlanta Falcons.

"I've been hearing maybe Atlanta.

"That's what I've been hearing, but I'm not sure," Alexander shared.

Wilson finished his second season with the  Broncos this year after spending the first decade of his career in Seattle, winning a Super Bowl and making nine Pro Bowls.

The star QB was traded to Denver in 2022 and signed a massive deal for five-year, $242.6 million.

Since arriving, his tenure in Denver has yet to meet expectations, with a 4-11 record in year one and a 7-8 finish this past year despite the Broncos bringing in Sean Payton as their new head coach.

At the end of October, the Broncos came to Wilson and asked him to adjust the guaranteed money in his contract, which he didn't, and was ultimately benched for Jarrett Stidham.

The two also had a public outburst on the sidelines during a Thanksgiving game against the Detroit Lions after the team was on a five-game winning streak just a few weeks prior.

Wilson will have options if he hits the open market. Atlanta and Pittsburgh both have established weapons at their skill positions and could be one star QB away from making a deep post-season run.
