Who is CJ So Cool?

The 33-year-old is from Gary, Indiana.

His actual name is Cordero James Brady.

He joined YouTube in 2014 and rose to fame with his popular reaction videos and pranks.

Now, CJ boasts over five million followers on Instagram.

He has an impressive 8.86million subscribers on YouTube.

CJ So Cool shared gory post of his wounds

The YouTuber shared a graphic photo on Instagram of blood dripping down his leg as he lay in what appeared to be a hospital bed.

Fans were shocked to see the gory picture, with many taking to social media to react.

One Twitter user, @TrenchBandicot, wrote: “Cj so cool got shot and went straight to his instagram to post the bullet wounds,” before adding multiple laughing emoji.

'So much love,' continued

CJ So Cool, speaking in a hospital gown, added: "So it's a very warm feeling that I get to embrace all this love and I get to still be on this earth.

"Which only means that God has a plan for me. I just want everybody watching to know this was not fake, this was not staged. I don't wish this on anybody.

"Getting shot is not a joke, it's not a game - especially while you're just trying to sleep.

"I was literally awakened by two people trying to kill me. For what? I don't know. I never did anything to anybody. I've never done anything wrong to anybody.

"But I'm just grateful to be here and I'mma get back, I'mma get better."

CJ So Cool thanks fans after getting 'so much love'

CJ So Cool took to his Instagram story on Thursday night to share a video of himself thanking his fans for the overwhelming amount of support he's been receiving.

He said: "I'm getting so much love right now. On Instagram, Facebook, text message, phone calls.

"Everyone has been reaching out to me with positive regards. I appreciate you.

"I appreciate all the love. This is something that if I would've passed away I wouldn't have been able to see."
