A GANG of burglars targeting the rich and famous have broken into the £10million home of crime-caper movie director Guy Ritchie.
They were seen rifling through possessions but fled empty-handed as police sped to the scene.

It was not known if father-of-five Ritchie — whose film hits include Snatch, Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels and The Gentlemen — or his actress wife Jacqui Ainsley were at the Georgian pad in Fitzrovia, Central London.
But a source said of the burglars: “They were seen by an occupant of the house. Very shortly afterwards the police turned up and the suspects legged it up the street and got away.”
The raid was the latest in a series of high-profile crimes to hit the area which could have been lifted from one of Ritchie’s movies.
They include a February break-in at model Kelly Brook’s home.

Ritchie’s raiders struck at around 7am on Sunday.
Cops are analysing CCTV from the home and nearby addresses.
Ritchie, 52, and his wife, 39, share their time between the London property and their 18th-century estate in Wiltshire.
The country home, near Salisbury, was given to the director as part of his 2008 divorce settlement from Madonna, with whom he has two children. A crook broke into that mansion in 2010.
Yesterday a woman who answered the door at the eight-bedroom London house politely declined to comment. There was no sign of Ritchie.

One neighbour told The Sun: “This is shocking and always a worry when you hear of an incident like that.
“We all hire private security companies to protect us. I pay £3,700 a month personally.
“That’s for private security to do walks at night and keep an eye out. They monitor the area. We believe organised criminals operate in the area and target these homes.
“It’s a very nice area. We know we’re going to be a target. I hope the police can find the people responsible. We need to feel safe.”
