THE wedding dress of a blushing bride's mother has caused an uproar online over whether or not it was appropriate for the occasion.
The bride said she didn't see any issue and doesn't understand why people are divided on the internet over it.

Wedding photographer Sydney Marie (@sydneymarie.co) normally is behind the camera and away from the bridal drama, but that all changed when it came time for her own nuptials.
She shared a glimpse at how she got ready for her special day with her mother by her side in an Instagram Reel.
People couldn't help giving their two cents about the dress her mother wore.
In another video, she addressed her audience for being in an "uproar over her fabulous momma."

When the video began, it showed an endearing moment when Sydney's mother put her wedding veil in her hair.
Sydney settled on a simple style and wore an A-line silk white gown.
Her mother stood behind her, laser-focused on the task at hand, and wore a soft blue strapless ballgown with flower details.
"When your mom's dress turned out to be very controversial on Instagram," the subtitle read.

The visual then jumped to a clip of her mother walking down the aisle, accompanied by two young men, with a proud smile on her face.
It was apparent that the bride had no problems with her mother's fashion choices for the big event.
People online had mixed opinions about the dress and addressed them in the comment section of the video.
"I love it when everyone BUT the bride gets mad. People get too involved on the internet," a viewer commented.
"She’s your something blue!!!" another chimed in.
"I thought the mom was the bride and the daughter was a bridesmaid! The mother’s dress definitely looked more 'formal' wedding gown," an Instagram user wrote.
"Either way, if the bride’s not upset, then no one else should be! Now, if the bride’s upset, that’s a whole other story. But she’s not, so it’s fine (and the dress isn’t white?)," a fan chimed in.
