AN INK fan has been left mortified after people reckon her massive neck tattoo looks like beard - and that's not even the worst part.

Looking to drastically change her appearance, one tatt fan, known as SpaceAtMidnight on TikTok, decided to have her neck inked pitch black - but it didn't quite go according to plan.

Close to tears over how the new feature looked, the woman, believed to be from the US, took to social media to seek advice - and comforting words.

''It's not finished, it's supposed to go gradient and down lower, and I'm having a whole entire identity crisis.

''It slightly alters the shape of my face,'' the ink fan demonstrated in the now-viral video.

''I feel like [...] it's not me.''

To those who insisted she should've seen this coming when getting such a bold tattoo, the beauty enthusiast said she had painted it on ''so many times'' without any issues.

Her guess was that the tattoo artist had gone slightly over her jawline and the ink had ended up on her face, making it look smaller and rounder.

Horrified at the fail, she added: ''I feel like my face is smothering into my neck.

''I'm just having a hard time coming to terms with this,'' the tattoo lover was emotional, desperately seeking help from social media users.

''Please tell me good news because I need it.''

But unfortunately, people did not have anything pleasant to say about the disaster - some even reckoned it looked like beard.

One mortified TikTok fan said: ''why did this make me feel claustrophobic.''

Another begged: ''tattoo removal. i can’t believe she did that to you.''

''you are correct sorry,'' someone else added.

However, others insisted the neck was simply swollen, like this person who commented: ''Breath in and let go. This has happened, it will look better when the swelling goes down.

''This moment will pass and you will be okay.''

Recently, another woman went for a bold tattoo choice - in her eyeballs.

The rising social media star, Kiki Mary, from São Paulo, Brazil, shocked fans after revealing she recently had an eyeball tattoo.

The young model, who is a fan of body modification, already has several piercings and ink ornamenting her body.

But now to complete the look, Kiki, who hasn't disclosed her age, went in for a new addition to the tattoo family - making her eyes pitch black.

The shocking video, which has left social media users horrified, reveals the process - and it's not for the faint-hearted.

Here, the ink fan could be seen laying on her back in a tattoo salon when suddenly an expert appeared with a needle.

The tattoo guru, rocking black ink in her eyes too, then proceeded to inject the needle into her Kiki's eyeball and let the dark ink flow inside.

The Brazilian didn't flinch or show any emotions and within seconds the once white eyeball had turned black, leaving people horrified.

But despite being obsessed with the results, snaps of which she also shared on Instagram, social media users were divided.

Whilst some insisted that Kiki could do whatever she wanted with her body, others reckoned it was a step too far and, in fact, could be dangerous.

''Why risk going blind,'' one was baffled with the eyeball tattoo obsession.

Someone else thought the artist should have said no to Kiki's request, writing: ''any respectful tattooist wouldn't do this soon many risks involved.''

Another agreed, wondering: ''Why not just wear sclara lenses? It’s 100% safer.''

''I wouldn't play with my eyes,'' a fourth dashed to comments.
