In the clip uploaded to the popular app in January, 2022, she said: “So people always ask me about our tights machine and I have to buy tights today so I guess I’ll just make a video about it.”

The Tiktoker’s colleague shows off the dispenser and a $5 bill is put into the machine.

@Kenzjee then pushes a button that reads “Suntan B”.

There are several options on the machine under different letters which refer to the length of the stockings.

Tiktokers were left puzzled that Hooters girls appear to have to pay for their own tights when it’s part of the work attire.

One said: “Why do you have to pay for them if it is part of the uniform?

“Cause in my opinion the boss should provide them for free.”

Another commented: “It’s a company uniform, company should pay for it (sic).”

And a third asked: “So you have to buy your own uniform?”

Tiktokers asked if the stockings are tax-deductible that can be claimed on work-related expenses.

The Hooters girl replied: "Yes."

Responding to the flurry of questions, @Kenzjee said: “They have to sell tights thru a third party company because tights are considered ‘under garments’ so they can’t provide them for us.”

The Sun has approached Hooters for comment.

'UNGRATEFUL' WAITRESS

It comes just weeks after a waitress who shared her tips after one shift got trolled for being “ungrateful”.

She and her co-workers appeared to boast and complain about tips they had received in a single four-hour shift.

The clip went viral and has been watched more than eight million times, racking up over one million likes.

She received $521 during her shift but many viewers weren’t impressed with her attitude.

Hooters are renowned for their “Hooter Girls” - waitresses that wear low-cut tops and shorts to serve food.

There have been several iterations of the uniform since the restaurant was founded in Florida in the 1980s.

Last October, the restaurant chain was blasted by some staff as some waitresses branded the uniform “x-rated”.

The work attire changed from a short white crop top and orange shorts to a black, or orange, tight t-shirt and "crotch string" uniform shorts.

In response, Hooters said: “As we continue to listen to and update the image of Hooters Girls, we are clarifying they have the option to choose from traditional uniforms or the new ones.

"They can determine which style of shorts best fits their body style and personal image."
