In a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Jimmy, 56, revealed his contract with the company is up in less than three years.

"I think this is my final contract," he said. "I hate to even say it, because everyone’s laughing at me now — each time I think that, and then it turns out to be not the case."

He continued, "I still have a little more than two years left on my contract, and that seems pretty good. That seems like enough."

'PEOPLE WANT HIM OUT'

However, many fans have shared their theories as to why Jimmy is calling it quits.

"Jimmy Kimmel is pretending he's quitting but the truth is his ratings suck and people want him out," one revealed, with others agreeing and theorizing that people aren't watching him anymore.

A second critic slammed the comedian, "No one is watching because [he is] NOT funny."

"My guess is that he was informed that they won't be offering him a contract renewal," a third pointed out.
