UKRAINIAN-BORN orphan Natalia Grace's real age will be revealed in a new documentary about her adoption scandal, in which she speaks for the first time in years.

The first installment of the ID Discovery series, The Curious Case Of Natalia Grace, was watched by more than 10 million viewers and followed the unbelievable story of the young woman's case.

Natalia was accused of being an adult sociopath with dwarfism posing as a 6-year-old by her former adoptive parents Michael and Kristine Barnett who took her in back in 2010.

The U.S. Sun has seen previews of the second chapter, Natalia Speaks, and had an exclusive chat with legal analyst Beth Karas, who appears in the show.

She said: "I'm pretty confident that people will conclude what her age is, probably after two episodes."

Beth said there are several new experts and those involved in the case who speak out in the upcoming series, with the first episode titled Age, Rage and the Big Lie.

Her real age has been a question for years after the Barnetts alleged they discovered she had full pubic hair and had started her period after taking her in.

They petitioned to have her age changed and left to live in an apartment on her own in Lafayette, Indiana, after moving to Canada in July 2013.

They were later charged with counts of neglect of a dependent, neglect of a dependent causing bodily injury and conspiracy to commit neglect of a dependent.

'THE TRUTH'

Marion County Superior Court decided to dismiss their cases because of forensic evidence presented to them that revealed Natalia was not a child when the Barnetts left her in Lafayette.

But now, new evidence is featured in the documentary and Natalia herself insists her childhood was stolen from her.

"The Barnetts tried to paint me as this big monster, they claimed I’m lying about my age," she said in the new series.

"I was six years old when they adopted me. But the Barnetts did a petition to change my age to 22 years old. I literally lost my childhood."

Beth admitted: "I've been trying to stay away from giving my opinion, only because it hasn't premiered yet. But we get answers to questions in the second season, we have backup corroboration, it's not just like Natalia's word against Michael's.

"I think that the age issue is now settled given information that we now have that the court who re-aged her did not have."

Talking about her experience working on the series, she said: "I'd never heard of re-aging before this case. It was an interesting departure from what I'm typically exposed to."

One expert is heard teasing in the first episode of the show: "Her DNA has all the answers," and she is seen taking a blood sample before breaking down in tears over the results.

Natalia's biological mom Anna Gava also reportedly provided a DNA test and was a positive match.

She claimed in the earlier season that her daughter was born in 2003 - meaning Natalia was a child when she was adopted by the Barnetts.

MOVIE PLOT

Her claims are further investigated in the second installment with expert analysis.

Tippecanoe County Sheriff Bob Goldsmith also worked on the case and said in the first episode: "Knowing what I know I don't think justice has been served."

Natalia claimed: "In every lie is a hidden truth, but you gotta dig enough to be able to see it. They're not gonna get away with this. This is my side of the story. Do I look like a monster to you?

"I want you to know how old I am. I want you to know about my past because I want to know too.

“It's very fuzzy, there's a lot of things that I remember but I can't picture it. So I want the puzzle to be complete.

"But the things that Kristine and Michael have said that I’ve done is a lie. It was all copied off the movie Orphan. Ukrainian girl, Russian girl, check, orphan, check, all this crazy stuff… standing by the end of the bed with a knife. Check."

Orphan was a hit psychological horror film released in 2009 and followed the story of a couple who adopted a psychopathic nine-year-old girl with a shady past.

Michael Barnett appeared once again in the new series and stands by his version of events, even having an emotional one-on-one chat with Natalia on camera.

Her former adoptive mother Kristine, who is no longer with Michael, has refused to speak on the matter for years and does not appear.

Beth explained: "I'm not aware of anyone on our team speaking to her directly. They may have spoken through her attorney, but have been shut down.

ABUSE DENIAL

"I mean, she's posted a little bit about this and apparently doesn't put much credence to the first season. But we show medical records that she's signed off on in season two. So I don't know how she's gonna refute that."

The series features a dentist who brings up scans of Natalia's baby teeth during a previous visit with Kristine which confirmed she was still a child, with the papers signed by her.

Back in June, she shared on Facebook that "evidence has been looked through thoroughly by Indiana even at the Supreme Court level and the charges against me were dismissed."

She went on: "I would also add that any allegations of abuse that occurred in the documentary were alleged by that same party in the court case and charges against me were still dismissed because in a court of law, the truth exists.

"Please consider your source of information when judging me. While I was a regular wife and mother who went through a divorce and who moved on after it, I did not abuse Natalia."

The U.S. Sun has made several attempts to reach out to Kristine and her attorney for further comment but did not hear back.

Natalia says in the series: "It's true that I told everyone I was 22 years old. But Kristine literally trained me to lie. That's what makes it worse, that it happened to come from me. And they could use that against me like, 'Oh but you said it, you said that you was 22 years old.’

"And then they changed my age. That whole thing was just a big chain reaction from one lie.

"Kristine is the real monster. Michael is an accomplice to the monster because he went along with everything that Kristine said. Who does that?"

Michael stands by many of his allegations about Natalia, including that she plotted to kill the family.
