CCTV posted to Twitter showed a customer wearing a black hat grabbing a pool ball and lobbing it at another man.
One eyewitness told the MailOnline: "It was threatening to kick off all night. There was a load of them by the pool table. Then a big row broke out and the lad with the hat was going at them all.
"He grabbed a ball from the table and threw it at one of the group sitting down at the table then went for another lad across the table."
The man in the hat then turned his attention to another pool player, dressed in white, and aggressively squared up to him before swinging his right arm to land a punch.
Just as he stepped back for a moment, a friend of the man in white turned his pool cue into a weapon, and launched it at his head.
He was instantly knocked out and dropped to the floor while the man in white chucked his pint over him.
"I don't think he saw someone standing next to him because he was caught completely off guard," the witness added.
"This lad just took a swipe at his head and knocked him clean out," he continued.

This triggered mates of both parties to join the fight.
In a matter of seconds there were two men lying on the floor and two men waving their cues in the air.
The witness said: "Then it just kept going off. There were a few digs thrown and I think he copped another blow to the head as he was on the floor.
"People were walking out fearing they'd get hit. Then the lads just legged it. But it's all on CCTV."
Footage also showed a few revellers unsuccessfully attempting to break up the fight.
A spokesperson for the force said: "On the evening of December 30th 2022, we were alerted to an altercation taking place within a pub on Prince Edward Road, South Shields.
"Officer attended the premises but those involved had already left and no reports outlining any injuries were made to police.
"CCTV of the incident is being reviewed by officers and enquiries are ongoing."
No arrests have been made.
