A TEEN girl has been charged after allegedly stabbing her boyfriend with a pair of surgical scissors while he was in a hospital bed following a fight over “suspected infidelity”.
Taniea D. Sherrod, 18, is accused of leaving her beau a bloody mess after she attacked him when he refused to hand over his phone during an argument about cheating on November 19.

Sherrod was allegedly with her boyfriend at a Florida hospital at about 10.30pm that night when the two began fighting, according to an arrest sheet seen by the Tampa Bay Times.
Things took a violent turn after the boyfriend refused to give Sherrod his phone, prompting the "irate" teen to pick up a pair surgical scissors that were in the room.
She then allegedly stabbed her partner several times in the right thigh causing multiple puncture wounds, according to police.
A charge report states the 18-year-old was arrested on December 4, and booked into the Pinellas County jail on a charge of aggravated battery with a weapon.

She was being held Monday on $15,000 bail.
A not guilty plea has been entered on her behalf.
It is unclear why Sherrod’s boyfriend was in hospital in the first place.
