Teen Mom Next Chapter's 'fired' star reveals she is returning to show - but her husband is still 'banned' from filming

ASHLEY Jones has revealed she is returning to Teen Mom: Next Chapter after rumors she was axed from the show.
Earlier this month, it was reported that the MTV star was axed from the series and replaced by Mackenzie McKee.

A Teen Mom fan account on Instagram announced the casting shakeup.
"They didn't even tell Ashley. This isn't the last of her, though," a source close to production told the fan page.
At the time, Ashley's husband Bar Smith, 26, commented on the post, "Crazy way to find out you was fired. Welp, it was a good run with you all.
"Thanks for supporting us."

However, on Monday, Ashley, 26, confirmed that she is returning to the show for the upcoming season.
She shared a screenshot of an article that read, "Ashley Jones is returning to Teen Mom: The Next Chapter!"
"Ask for what you are worth. Actually demand it," the reality star wrote above it, adding a heart emoji.
Bar is still banned from filming for the moment, The Ashley's Reality Roundup claimed.

“Bar not being on [Next Chapter] is the result of a few different things, but a big part of it stems from what went down at Teen Mom Family Reunion,” a source said.
Ashley and Bar reportedly fought while filming a "couples therapy" version of the spin-off series Teen Mom Family Reunion in Columbia in September.

“The fight happened in front of some of the higher-up producers and that caused big problems.
“The producers didn’t want the violence that happened last season and, along with a few other things that went down, gave that as a reason to kick off Bar and Ashley.”
They were reportedly sent home before they could join the cast in the house.
Bar's reported ban may not be permanent and he may come back later on, sources claimed.
Ashley's return will not affect Mackenzie's being added to the show, according to the outlet.
MACK'S BACK
Former Teen Mom OG star Mackenzie, 29, who was let go from Teen Mom in March 2022, will be slipping back into her role on the franchise.
“Mackenzie will still be featured on episodes this season. Nothing changes there," a source told the outlet.
Last year, Ashley and her mom, Tea, were kicked off Family Reunion after getting into a heated altercation with Briana DeJesus, 29, and her mom, Roxanne.
Things got tense again when they reunited on stage after the incident, causing Briana to quickly walk off.
"She's a snake, she's messy, she's a fake a** wannabe selective bully," Ashley ranted about her former co-star.

Most of their castmates appeared to side with Briana, as Ashley wasn't invited to her ex-co-star Jade Cline's wedding in October, despite everyone else being on the guest list.
