One coeliac TikTok user was so excited by the launch of the new product that she sprang out of bed to be one of the first to get her hands on the treat.

She said: "I woke up super early to go find gluten free Arnott’s Tim Tams. What the f**k," and leapt in her car to secure the goods.

"I went to three places. I found them. They were fully stocked. They smell the same, they smell the same as others."

She added that she even felt she needed to double check the biscuits were gluten free as they tasted so similar to the original ones.

Arnott’s has slowly been adapting their popular products to make them more accessible.

So far they have made coeliac friendly Mint Slices, Tiny Teddies, Shortbread Cream and Choc Ripples.

The chocolate biccies come in a pack of seven and have a fairly steep price tag of $5.50 a pop.

This is $1 more than the original ones which have 11 biscuits and cost $4.50.

But the expense has failed to dampen the spirits of most of the excited fans, however, one was unimpressed.

"Not a fan of the price tag" they wrote.

Others shared their joy, with one commenting: "That’s so good. About time they did more GF foods."

Another was upset they didn't manage to grab a pack and said: "Literally sold out everywhere I’ve looked."

An Arnott’s spokesperson told news.com.au the brand was proud to bring the item to life.

“For the quarter of Aussies who avoid gluten in their diets, Arnott’s is proud to be able to provide a range of great tasting products for these Aussies including Mint Slice, Shortbread Cream, Tiny Teddy, Choc Ripple, Scotch Finger, and TeeVee Snacks Original; now including Gluten Free Tim Tam,” the spokesperson said.
