Vanderpump Rules' Katie Maloney appears to slip up & confirm Something About Her sandwich shop closed as fans spot clue

KATIE Maloney has seemingly revealed new information about her sandwich shop.

Katie, 37, and her VPR co-star Ariana Madix, 38, planned on opening a sandwich shop called Something About Her, but the opening has been delayed several times.

In a recent interview from the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Katie appeared to accidentally let a secret slip.

During the interview, the women were discussing how much renting an apartment costs in the Los Angeles area.

Ariana was lamenting over how expensive renting an apartment with a dog and a cat would be, and she said that Katie also shells out a lot of cash for her place.

Katie then replied: "We were paying a mortgage and then for a long time we were also paying the rent on Something About Her, so..."

Fans on social media immediately noticed the usage of past tense while discussing the sandwich shop.

Based on what the Bravo star said, Ariana and Katie may have left their culinary dreams in the rearview mirror.

CAUGHT IN A 'LIE'

Fans of VPR on X, formerly known as Twitter, got a hold of the clip and had a lot to say about the revelation.

One commented: "I caught that! I’m wondering if she misspoke or if someone else is paying their rent."

A third said: "They're getting caught in too many lies if people were really paying attention."

One fan commented: "Whoever supported them got scammed. Whoever invested in them got scammed.

"Only they were making money and it was due to the merch….. let that sink in."

Then, a fan clarified: "Apparently Ariana said on IG they are still paying rent."

Ariana has raked in nearly $1million during her debut week in the Broadway production of Chicago.

Her debut bested her fellow Bravo alum Erika Jayne's first week in Chicago when she played the same role in 2020.

Since the Vanderpump Rules “Scandoval” broke in March 2023, the “name on everybody’s lips” has been Ariana.

Now that she's a bonafide Broadway hit, making her debut on the boards last week in Chicago and breaking box office records with nearly $1million in grosses - unlike Erika, 52.

Grosses for The Real Housewife of Beverly Hills star dropped in her January 2020 opening week.

Madix joined Broadway’s Chicago as Roxie Hart on Tuesday, January 29.

Her opening week was the production's highest-grossing non-holiday week in the revival’s more than 27-year history, according to Broadway World box office reports.
