Who are Tucker Carlson’s parents?

Tucker Carlson is the eldest son of Lisa McNear, an artist, and journalist Richard Warner Carlson.

Richard is a retired American journalist and diplomat who served as the director of the Voice Of America during the last six years of the Cold War.

He also led Radio Marti broadcasting to Cuba and was director of the US Information Agency and the USIA Documentary Film Service.

Throughout his career as a journalist, Richard has worked as a newspaper reporter, a wire service reporter, magazine writer, TV and radio correspondent, and documentary filmmaker.

Carlson's parents divorced after their nine year-marriage reportedly "turned sour."
