Who is Chidera Eggerue?

26-year-old Chidera Eggerue is a fashion blogger, body positivity campaigner and young author.

Born and raised in Peckham, South London, the social media star first began her internet career with her fashion and female empowerment blog The Slumflower.

Since then, her online following has gown exponentially and she has now written the self-help book What A Time To Be Alone.

Referred to as "this generation's agony aunt" and "the millennial mastermind", Chidera has also given a TEDTalk on female body image and her unconventional journey to success.

What is the #saggyboobsmatter campaign?

Alongside writing her first book, Chidera also started the #saggyboobsmatter social media campaign.

Chidera told Stylist magazine the"a lack of representation of different looking boobs" is what inspired her to start sharing honest images of her own body because "when a particular message is being pushed repeatedly, that becomes your reality."

Speaking on Lorraine, the author revealed "when I was 18 I thought I really wanted a boob job" because "we only ever see perky boobs" on social media.

Instead, the young author learned to accept her breasts for what they are and began sharing photos of herself without a bra on Instagram as part of her #saggyboobsmatter movement - inspiring countless other women to do the same.

Surprised by the attention the campaign has gained, Chidera said: "it goes to show that being yourself is seen as something that's shocking and almost heroic."

Why is her blog called Slumflower?

Chidera goes by the name The Slumflower on all her respective social media platforms.

Inspired by Street Etiquette's short film of the same name, Chidera chose to name her blog after the short because it "centred around the idea of a rose growing from concrete."

Her blog says; "growing up in Peckahm South-East London, Chidera shares so many similarities with this concept of beautifully growing, glowing and flourishing in an environment that mainly appears to promote the opposite."
