You can 'save on your gas bill' thanks go Home Depot's $55 heating gadget shoppers say is 'manual and simple' to use

AS THE DAYS get darker and colder and millions of Americans switch on their heat, many will see their fuel expenses rise.

Cost-conscious shoppers are looking for ways to cut down on heating bills, and a Home Depot gadget purports to be a solution.

The major hardware dealer is offering a portable space heater by the company Pelonis for $55.

Plugging in the heater could help save on gas, though it will cost you electricity.

THE SPECS

The unit uses oil to help radiate heat, but is pre-filled and does not require refilling.

Pelonis’ heater comes with 1500 watt, 900 watt, and 600 watt settings.

In total, 66% of reviewers recommended the product.

“It's a great little heater,” one customer said. “Does the job and saves on my gas bill.”

Another said they never used the high-heat setting, as medium was hot enough.

“I like that it's manual and simple,” they wrote. “The price was good as well.”

A one-star reviewer complained that their heater died within months.

Home Depot does offer two-year protection plans which could help ensure any product you purchase lasts.

The plugin heater is advertised as an effective tool for heating a space, though many are taking to more unorthodox methods of heating this winter.

Amazon is selling a $35 heating tool that reviewers called “weird.”

The strange foot warmers can keep toes toasty.

The microwaveable booties are listed on Amazon for $35.50.

A heated gizmo could help dry clothes without a dryer or clothesline this winter.

The dryer leaves clothes ready to hang, and, according to one TikTok user, they’re “wrinkle-free.”
